Born in the North Carolina Surf
Regulator Marine started in 1988 in an old grocery store in Edenton, North Carolina. The founders, Joan and Owen Maxwell, were boaters who were tired of compromises. They worked with famous naval architect Lou Codega to design a hull that could handle the dangerous inlets of the Outer Banks.
Their mission was to build the finest center console sportfishing boats in the world. Today, they are still a family-owned company that treats every owner like part of the family. When you step onto a Regulator, you are stepping onto almost 40 years of offshore history.
