Spring launch at Spicer Marine is more than just putting your boat back in the water. It’s about making sure everything is ready to go so you can start the season with confidence.
What’s Included in Spring Launch
Our spring launch process is designed to get you on the water as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Our team handles every step of the process, including removing shrink wrap, reinstalling batteries if they were removed for the winter, performing engine start-up and system checks, and conducting a visual inspection of all key systems. We also coordinate launch timing and handle docking for customers with dockage, ensuring a seamless and stress-free transition back into the water. If your boat was winterized with us, we already have a thorough understanding of its condition and history, allowing us to move through the launch process even more efficiently and get you out on the water right where you left off.
Scheduling Your Launch
Spring is one of the busiest times of year for us. As the weather turns, everyone is ready to get back on the water at the same time. The earlier we can plan your launch, the smoother the process tends to be.
Just like with service, one of the first things we look at is timing. If you have a specific date in mind, let us know. If your schedule is flexible, that can also help us move things along more efficiently. Our goal is to get boats in the water safely, in the right order, and without unnecessary delays.
Additional Spring Work
Spring is also a popular time for many of our customers to take care of annual engine service, electronics installations or updates, battery replacement, and any minor repairs or adjustments that may have been identified over the winter. If you are planning any additional work alongside your spring launch, we strongly encourage you to let us know as early as possible so that we can schedule everything together, streamline the process, and avoid any unnecessary delays in getting you back out on the water.
A Quick Note on Timing
May is one of the highest-demand months in our service department. While we do everything we can to keep things moving, there are times when capacity becomes limited. We do our best to communicate clearly and set realistic expectations so there are no surprises.
